      Pros

      Good technology Good opportunity for the company Smart colleagues Openness (depending on team and subject)

      Cons

      Work life balance, Culture evolving in the wrong direction, Constructive feedback is received as being negative, resulting in people not voicing issues, Understaffed where it matters, overstaffed where it makes no difference, Limited respect for people, Almost no benefits, Unfair rewards - out of balance between teams, Below market salary, 'Winner' takes it all attitude from management, Toxic sales culture, Very limited personal growth, Manager is the only real career path, Parental leave get extended the week before the CEO became a dad???

      Product and pricing undercuts sales

      Pros

      Great, fast moving product and brand recognition. Intelligent coworkers.

      Cons

      The company is designed from the ground up to push customers and incentivizes them to stay there rather than transition to enterprise. Little to no investment in sales process, or data so ops has no idea what makes a good account. Brutal sales culture with no manager discretion on firing.

      Pros

      Great mission - build a better internet - using languages like Go. The CEO is visionary - definitely has an understanding of what the market wants. The company blog is followed and often picked up by the press. The company is also growing fast.

      Cons

      Very toxic culture - very much a cult of personality. Most of the first engineers hired have left the company. Either you are loved by the CEO or hated - there is no other way to get promotions or more money. No one on the 'executive' team has any management experience.
