Pros

Was a nice environment to work in a few years ago. Great coworkers, nice revamped carpet, and cubicles. Decent pay although I was about 10K behind the curve, Benefits were decent.

Cons

Turnover was very high towards the end of my time-especially in the IT department. Upper management tends to over think things and changes things that don't need to be changed.

Decent salary, benefits and somewhat flexible work schedule.

Cons

There’s a formal mandate of a “Culture of Inclusion”… Passive-aggressive behavior and relational aggression are ignored or shrugged off. There’s a reason there’s a high turnover.

Still good people around on the business side of CoBank

Cons

Don’t listen to posts by IT senior managers and directors. They’re they ones complicit in this “transformation” and in most cases they ones doing the firings. The only explanation they give is that the new CIO “has done this before”. Integrity is no longer a thing at CoBank. Rather than leverage the domain expertise and experience of senior engineers, they’ve devised a way to get people to quit so they can be replaced by Associate level employees. If you manage to stick it out, they just terminate you.
