Pros

Great cafeteria, and location in the DTC

Cons

Zero value is given to employees. They do no promote from within. Virtually no training or development of staff. Promotions and raises are almost non-existent. Management only focused on today. No forward thinking or planning. The best and brightest leave this company very very quickly. The Gallup Survey results are a joke, employees do not answer them honestly, because they fear losing their jobs.

Pros

CoBank gives you $300 to give to your favorite charity of choice every year. CoBank provides their Colorado based employee's an RTD ECO pass to travel on the public transit system for free.

Cons

CoBank was the most micromanaged company that I've ever worked for. The health insurance was the worst insurance that I've ever seen a large company offer. Management has no compasion for their employees lives outside of work. The management is also very unapproachable and full of attitude. Very stuffy, conservative and political!

Pros

Financially speaking CoBank is a stable company. The yearly bonus payout is competitive,

Cons

It's referred to as "CoBank nice" which is another way of saying it's a passive-aggressive culture. If you dislike endless meetings, this environment can be frustrating. Strong resistance to change at the leadership levels - despite claims of being focused on transformation, real progress is very limited. Extremely slow pace. Recent months have brought significant organizational and leadership changes, but very little acknowledgement about the impact those changes have on associates. PTO is definitely not competitive.
