Culture of fear. Nobody talks to each other and there is no sense of team. Merit increases, even during good years are minimal. They used to be a good work/life balance but now all that exists are unreasonable expectations and extreme pressure. The company is top heavy in terms of senior management and now they are trying to "optimize resources" by squeezing the lower levels until we crack. Its been very sad to see this once great company decline.

Manager is ALWAYS right. HR is there to support management. My manager had 110% turnover in the 3years I was there. HR never once did anything to encourage a better work environment. This was common in a number of departments where employee concerns were ignored in favor of management.
