Pros

Stable and good work life balance.

Cons

Lots of politics, not many opportunities unless there are vacancies from retirement or required as a result of politics. There used to be a pension available for people who were there before 2010. Many are just coasting. Manager quantity has a wider spectrum than average firms from very good to very horrible. No reviews of managers by their direct reports nor metrics evaluating or holding managers’ behaviors accountable.
