Pros

Company is going nowhere but down. Employees dropping so low, the number will soon be lower than the founder's Iq.

Cons

Low pay, no future, boring job.

Pros

Coworkers were generally good people. Cool office. As far as interesting job opportunities go in North Dakota, pretty good.

Cons

Considering they pride themselves on attracting the best talent ND has to offer, they don't pay like they do - no bonuses, either. CEO can't help but involve himself. He just never figured out how to trust his employees. Toxic "start-up" mentality. Crazy amount of turnover.

Pros

- Fun and exciting work events - Vibrant and lively office - Benefits are above average - Autonomy is high - Minimal useless meetings - Ability to decide software tooling - Cross-team help is available - New technology on horizon

Cons

- Owner micro management is high and they often drag employees along on whims then backtrack multiple times a sprint - Management is only focused on short term (crunch occurs) - Horrible communication for such a small company (honestly laughable) - Majority of app is on an old tech stack and a large portion of the original engineers have left - Continuous QA/testing is nearly non existent - QA concerns are often overlooked/dismissed - Pay is horrendous compared to industry average - Absurdly high turnover - Career path/growth doesn’t exist Find a non ND, remote job. Thank me later.
