      Pros

      Pretty good benefits and average salary compensation.

      Cons

      Extremely high level of micro management. Upper management are truly not good people. They do not care about their employees. Many examples of individuals or entire teams being fired with minimal notice or logical reason. The company is basically a monopoly in the industry, which stunts any actual growth or need to improve. CoStar usually just tries to litigate away any competition. Oddly enough, they also do that for employees who speak out against the poor culture at the company. I’ve never been at a company with worse culture. I had an immense sense of relief no longer being associated with CoStar upon leaving. Do yourself a favor and just find a job elsewhere.

      Salary Coffee Health Insurance however none of the Mental Health support services offered by the company will reimburse time wasted in this place

      Read all the comments below before joining the company. If you really want to join because salary is attractive confront recruiter about the negative comments on Glassdoor before joining. Don't make their life easy. Once you join they will try ruin your life. I have asked recruiter for that but she lied to me that all these negative comments are not true. I could not speak to her after I joined because she left.... Other cons of CoStar Racism Discrimination They treat you like a child. You will not learn anything here. Good for graduates but not for someone who wants progress their career.

      Pros

      I loved everyone I worked with directly. We get an acceptable benefits package but definitely not on the same tier as a tech company. WLB was good for me but not necessarily for everyone, even within the same field (I am a designer).

      Cons

      The "free lunches" are so dismal that I learned to enjoy stale salad and mints for lunch. The leadership makes all these big decisions about laying people off without consulting anyone that actually knows people at the office, and now they're backtracking and hiring a bunch of people for Atlanta now that they accidentally laid off too many people. Lots of micromanagement from upper management that my manager and director tried to protect us from.
