      Pros

      The company CEO is strategically brilliant. He has dominated the industry as he’s entered like nobody else. The company is growing and will continue to grow.

      Cons

      It is a very stressful work environment. Morale is generally pretty low. The company is CEO focused and not the CEO really rules everything. Turnover is very high. Because the services Costar offers is so important to clients, coStar takes his relationships for granted. Clients will never say that CoStar is their favorite company.

      Opportunity to make $$$, industry leader in product, innovative

      Cons

      Leadership and CEO/founder create a culture of fear and humiliation. Daily activities are monitored- not enough to simply hit your target, your day is tracked to insure you are working (you are babysat,) no flexibility or trust earned when you prove to be successful, you are simply told it’s still not enough. Very unorganized in execution of initiatives and lack strategies and resources for success, and then blames frontline salesforce and managers for failing. Not a positive, encouraging environment to be your best.

      Most people are great but management sucks

      Cons

      Top level management has no idea about how poorly managed departments are. No work/life balance at all! You start with one job role and new ones keep getting added on Sales goals and commission always change Andy is self-centered egotist that thinks he's some kind of super god. He's mean, heartless and has no idea how many people outside Costar hate him and the compay.
