Pros

As you have probably read already, the benefits as an employee are great! Great medical plans, free salads and snacks and I loved the culture. Costar offers so much to it's employees and you may not appreciate until you don't have it anymore. I enjoyed the fast-paced environment and enjoyed working with the people on my team.

Cons

As with most places, constantly shifting priorities make it at times hard to get major projects completed.There is little job security and if you don't have a good manager the vision for your future with the company is hard to envision. I personally think that's why people leave so often. There is also no work from home option or flexibility.

NO job security and subject to be let go at any given time.

Pros

Great benefits, cell phone andd ipad provided

Cons

- Sales compensation is mainly based off of Net New Sales. Penetrated and small markets have impossible numbers to hit since comp plans roll out nationally. - If the current comp plan pays out to much, Management will change the plan as often as needed. You never seem to get paid correctly, most people give up trying after months of fighting. - It's all about numbers and quarterly earnings, not about people that work there. Your work-life balance will be horrible. - It is common for whole teams to leave within short periods of time.
