Focus on hierarchy is overbearing at times. Aesthetic of the brand is waning and the powers that be battle each other instead of doing what's right for the brand

Very hierarchical; very hive-like: a nightmare for independant thinkers. Lower ranks have no power to question processes and will get bullied into silence. The technical department fell apart while I was there and no one was willing to address head-on the problems of poor management and flat out ignorance of the issues brought up by tech associates who knew the process better than management. One woman I worked with who'd been there for years doing well was suddenly bullied into silence and shut out until she wilted and finally left.
