Pros

Great place to start part-time as a student to gain work experience. If you can get full-time, company provides decent benefits.

Cons

This company loves to play favorites. I tried to move on into other departments and the corporate office, couldn't have been more qualified, and I was constantly passed up. They will give jobs to employees who have absolutely no qualifications, especially if it's to just fill a position to keep the employee hired. Corporate is very out-of-touch with employees at the store level, and the demands they make to succeed are unrealistic.

Cons

lack of career advancement Most leadership is "old school" and most play the "good o'boy" game Even though Coborns is employee owned don't think your opinion is going to matter much
