Pros

Been with the company for almost 5 years where I have been able to continually grow and take on larger projects with more and more responsibility. I have been able to work on many different aspects of Electrical Engineering and I learn something new every single day. Plenty of room for growth in the company if you work hard. Hard work is rewarded and noticed by management.

Cons

Pay is lower than comparable positions in the industry here in Alaska.

Thanks for the advice. We are currently updating out review process and add more structure to it as you have suggested. We do try to keep the raise discussion separate from the review. They are connected, but our review process doesn't necessarily coincide with the timing of salary adjustments.
