Love working here. Benefits are great and the leadership really cares about who you are and what is best for you, your family, and your career. Wouldn't work anywhere else. Benefits are also very good.

Coffman Engineers, great place to start and grow, but probably not a company to stay at long term (20+ years)

Pros

Good culture, pay is okay. They hire high quality people. Work hard, play hard lifestyle. A lot of opportunity to travel. For a young engineer pay starts low, but ramps up.

Cons

Turn over rate. Burn out. Undervaluing young engineers. Constantly understaffed. Structure of progression is convoluted. Field work is heavy and required. Project managers and Principal Engineers have to work long shifts in the field just like the technicians. This shoots down the outlook a young engineer might have to work hard in the field early in their career for the hopes of a more office based job later on.
