Not sure if you mean we "get leadership" or if you meant "great leadership". I will take liberties and assume you meant "great" :) Thanks for the note. And thanks for being a part of our team. Let's win! Dave Ruff - CEO/President

Pros

I very much enjoy working at Coffman Engineers. They reward with hard work and commitment to quality. To the ex-employee that left the negative comment, you were fired because you were lazy. The company bent over backward for you and still, you would not pull the mark. No one wanted to work with you because you didn't do your job and they constantly had to cover for you. Good luck with your old job. That is probably where you belong, doing as little as possible. Coffman is a place for hard working, career motivated individuals with good attitudes and comradery with fellow employees. The work hard, play hard concept is not for you.

Cons

None that I can think of

I struggled with my response to the negative comment below. But apparently you knew exactly what needed to be said :). Sounds painful. Sorry we missed it on this one. Too bad the person was not the right fit for our culture. We messed that up and created heartburn for both parties. That red dot next to CEO is the cost of this misfire. Don't worry. It happens. We can't bat a 1000. But we can certainly attempt to. That is the difficulty with any interview process. We only get to see a glimpse of a person, and understandably it is the best version of themselves. We are looking for the following traits with people: humble, hungry, and people smart (thanks Patrick Lencioni). But those traits are very difficult to measure in a couple of hours. Keep working hard and playing hard. And thanks for your unshakable commitment to protecting who we are. Dave Ruff - CEO/President

Pros

Good culture and fun people to work with

Cons

Expect significant overtime and travel

Awesome to hear that we have a good culture and fun people. That is a big part of what we are shooting for. I don't think that we should have an expectation of significant overtime. In bursts overtime is necessary in order to avoid over-hiring and then lay-offs (which is not Coffman). We also pay for every hour worked which greatly reduces the company's motivation for overtime. Long term overtime that is not desired should be able to be managed. The same with excessive travel for long periods of time that is undesired. Please reach out to someone (even me) and let us know what your needs are. Seems like there should be an amicable solution. Seriously, call me. Dave Ruff - CEO/President
