Basically pretended the pandemic didn't happen

Pros

If you fish and own a boat you'll fit in well here with the management

Cons

Handled the pandemic so poorly. Dragged their feet on WFH. Employees had to use personal laptops and an extremely inefficient virtual desktop platform. Fired people during the beginning of the pandemic as though their health insurance wasn't actively tied to their employment.

I do fish. But I don't own a boat. Now I'm questioning whether I fit in. We did our best through the pandemic. It was a crazy time for the whole world. No good answers and a constantly changing environment. We grew 6% in 2020, so I am not tracking with your "fired people" sentence. I truly wish you all the best. Dave Ruff - CEO

Great Culture

Pros

- Culture across offices is great. Each office is different depending on where it is located, which allows some offices to lean more into the local culture - Leadership is open about state of the company - Leadership cares about each employee and cares for their well-being - HSA matching

Cons

- Insurance isn't the most convenient - Sometimes the "local office autonomy" can take the place of willingness to accept new technologies/processes

Every strength has its weaknesses. Our autonomy makes us nimble locally, but sometimes hinders us corporately. We live in that tension and adjust as we grow. The GM's have embraced "voluntary interdependency" as the ethos to achieve a new balance point. Thanks so much for the feedback and being on our team. Hoping to see you again soon in Houston.
