      Pros

      A strong, secure company plus ethical and sincerely caring about their family of employees. I've been in the industry for over 30 years and never have seen such a great combination. I love working for people who want to help me as much as I want to help them.

      Cons

      You are given all the responsibility that you request, so sometimes people take on more than they can handle. Management is supportive, but you need to be ready to admit you need help.

      Pros

      Very fun, professional environment to work in. Good array of projects to keep developing different skills. Everyone from Principals on down are easy to work with and very approachable. The company has a good balance between having fun and hard work. I would recommend Coffman to anyone looking for employment.

      Cons

      Sometimes it is easy to feel forgotten if you aren't an engineer. I love what I do but can hardly pay my student loans off and support a family with what I make, I wish there was a program to help with either education debt reimbursement or just a bit higher pay.

      Pros

      I have long appreciated the understanding of the human element everyone brings to their job. As peers we look to support each other professionally, socially, personally, and even spiritually. I have never felt I couldn't bring a need to my management and ask for help in addressing that need, whether it was professional or personal. Clients often bring us their challenging problems and I greatly enjoy our collaborative approach to problem solving. I appreciate how fun and relationships are valued as well as our quality of work.

      Cons

      Workload is not always consistent.. Some clients delay, some require difficult deadlines. This can lead to times when work unexpectedly overlaps and there is just a lot to do. Because we are customer service oriented, sometimes we push hard to finish something for a client even if what they need or want means some sacrifice on our part. The good thing is that we all recognize that we can't operate that way all the time and the company does not have that kind of expectation of its employees.
