Pros

Coforge provide's good work/life balance opportunities globally. Especially for women who need significant time off for the birth of a new child, or for those seeking to travel. I took a years leave of absence in order to travel the world and take a long break from corporate life. That aside, the firm allows you to work from home when necessary. Because staff are provided laptops and wireless cards, you can complete certain work from home. Some staff even negotiate to work from home a day a week. However this will depend on your role. Lastly, I managed to meet some life long friends with, who I have traveled with and spent countless good times with outside of the office. If you're going to work with someone 8 hours a day, it's nice if you can enjoy their company.

Cons

The hours can often be demanding. It isn't unheard of to have to work 70 or 75 hours a week as is the case with other high growth companies. This is the norm in my experience and I would suggest that people looking to work 9-5.30 shouldn't apply for jobs in Coforge.

Pros

"The acquired knowledge from on the job experience is priceless. There are few jobs that develop a sense of autonomy, critical thinking, and problem solving, as an exposure to the overall audit process. It also provides a unique chance to interact with businesses and industry leaders. Networking opportunities abound. Great benefits plan. Over 3 weeks off a year, once you work there for long enough. Generous health and 401(K) benefits. Very serious about outreach to women and minorities. They are doing their best to incorporate work/life balance, though they haven't done that entirely effectively yet."

Cons

While there are programs in place at the national level to encourage a good work life balance, it is difficult to always maintain a good perspective because of the nature of the work. "Busy Season" (October - March & April) is not conducive to a healthy personal life because of work expectations and demands.
