Career growth can be very slow - depends on your relationship with your manager. Merits can be overlooked or suppressed by your manager - and his word/perception is final! The company operates like the corrupt Indian Judiciary - no appeal mechanism if your manager decides to target you without any reason, or if he perceives his advances as being rejected, etc. Hence Bad place especially for women to work under male managers - male managers have Delhi mentality!
