Poor management. If you come to work in finance - be ware. The management is not involved with the day to day and only care about the big picture. If a problem escalates, they look to the employee to blame. This is not a place or environment you want to come to work long term. The department has lost 5 employees in a span of 3 months because they can no longer take the treatment from management. There have been so many complaints to the HR department and nothing changes - so I do not see this getting any better in the near future. Would not recommend coming to finance.

Manager is a reptile with no talent for management and no background in psychology or business. He is "very protective of their corporate culture" and makes the hiring decisions, and surprise, the office is 99% white dudes! Once heard them brag about having fired someone who worked on the Hubble Space telescope because they were "too slow." Prepare to be micromanaged by an online schedule that you can't alter and gaslit throughout your employment. Was encouraged to come in and work unpaid hours in order to keep up with an aggressive schedule. This was an internship-level position, and no real training occurred. Company culture is cutthroat-- watch your back.
