      Pros

      The company has some solid tech. The computer vision stack is pretty good.

      Cons

      It's a stifling culture. I dread to come into work every day. Plus the work isn't that exciting anyway.

      Pros

      I feel like an entrepreneur but without the risk of actually being one. Cognex is giving me to opportunity to work hard and rewards very well when being succesful.

      Cons

      It's not a 9 to 5 job. You need to have the "whatever it takes" mentality. If not, don't even bother to apply.

      Fantastic products surrounded by very talented people. The brand is second to none in the industry. Amazing organization that truly puts its people first.

      Cons

      Channel management may be difficult at times but internal competition is good in such a competitive market. Communication between the business unit and sales can improve.
