      Pros

      Great perks outside of actual job.

      Cons

      Outdated processes make working here hard. Managers are arrogant, rude and most have worked at cognex for a very long time. Human resources is a joke, so if you have an actual problem, prepare to deal with it on your own.

      Excellent benefits and bonuses, very interesting products that make life of engineers and developers very challenging, good values, smart people to work with

      Cons

      Salaries are on the low range, but that is compensate by bonuses, awards and benefits

      Pros

      Great company culture. Things like movie night, $5000 trip after being there for 10 years and higher amounts for 15, 20 and 25 years, Halloween celebration with huge prizes for best costume just to name a few.

      Cons

      Company is in a big growth mode so with that come the challenges of keeping the smaller startup feel. Currently don't have a work from home option which could make it difficult to attract the younger generation.
