      Growing Company with Opportunity for Right Profile

      Pros

      This is a fast moving company with a lot of potential. They show it in their performance numbers, and in the corporate DNA. If you like a challenge and a place where change is the norm (knowing that change means opportunity to do very cool stuff), Cognizant is for you. If you like stability and consistency, look elsewhere.

      Cons

      While recognition is great, upward mobility in the higher management levels can often be limited. Also, large portions of the company struggle with the typical "Indian Offshoring" identity crisis. The large contingent of Indians leads to group think that this "Born and Bred" American company is Indian - and it isn't. Meanwhile, leadership is trying to push the corporate culture to be much more international and globally balanced. The conflicts that arise from this are not unexpected and can lead to a lot of not so fun confrontations.
