RND runs the show, no respect for typical engineers. extremely lower pay than advertised. no bonus, minimal raises. don't expect much here. head of engineering/plant manager is a whackjob that is out of touch with reality. don't apply here unless you're desperate. I cannot wait to leave

The A&D group needs to hire management that understands how to do government contracting. They want to run the segment as though it's a commercial business and cut corners when possible in order to win work. Top management is made up of Engineers that want to run all facets of the business, both direct and indirect, instead of relying on experts in non-engineering fields who have 20-30 years of experience to provide guidance on best approaches in their areas. Also, A&D senior management has a tendency to just move individuals around in the business without conferring with Sr. Managers or Directors before taking those actions....not a good look.
