      There are some great people and intelligent folks in management.

      There isn't a one firm mentality. It's hard to get help from other offices. Also, I'm remote, and while I do travel to the office occasionally, as well as to clients, there's a huge disconnect from the office and the firm as a whole. I was brought in as someone who would be promoted to partner, but I work at a staff/senior level 70 % of the time.
