Pros
The teams are close knit and want to help each other succeed. The leadership understands they cannot compete with the bigger firms when it comes to compensation and try to make up for it with an open door, responsive philosophy.
Cons
Unfortunately, there are warlord like advisory partners who surround themselves with feckless minions to ensure mutual indemnity from what the firm stands for. I would definitely think twice before working for any advisory position.
