Lack of opportunities, poor management decisions

Pros

Starting pay is comparable to other public accounting firms as a top 20 accounting firm.

Cons

60-70 hour work weeks are the norm during busy season. Outside of busy season there isn't enough work which results in good people quitting or getting fired. Future opportunities are limited due to the type and size of clients. Management and HR lack the skills to properly schedule, manage and coach staff. There is a lot of trash talk and gossip. Senior associates will trash talk about an associate to a manager, then trash talk about that same manager to another senior associate.
