Pros

High profile company with good bang for your buck. Great exposure internationally and the opportunity to work with diverse team members from all functions.

Cons

Extremely political atmosphere - esp. at the NYC office. Strict old fashioned dress code which epitomizes the old school attitude. Promotions tend to happen to those who kiss upwards on a regular basis - if you rock the boat too much you will likely be sidelined - you have to "play the game". Also positions tend to change on too rapid a timeline - especially in Supply Chain and Marketing - people do not settle in their position because they know that they will move on within a few months - they tend to leave a mess behind them, but this is never acknowledged by management.

Pros

Most of management were experienced and compassionate.

Cons

The large territories made it difficult to reach all accounts. In most territories it was impossible to reach all accounts. All though accounts are rated by their level of importance to the business, the smaller accounts still wanted attention, and due to time constraints reps are unable to provide personalized customer service that some accounts were used to from other manufacturers.

Pros

After more than 30 years with the company, I can genuinely say I worked alongside some truly outstanding people. The talent and dedication across the organization — both domestically and internationally — have always been one of its greatest strengths. The relationships built over the years are something I will always value. For much of my tenure, the company offered top-notch benefits and competitive compensation. Depending on your role, there has also been meaningful flexibility with scheduling and time off, which many employees appreciated. The company has also been known for providing fair severance packages during difficult transitions. Earlier in my career, the culture felt more family-oriented and closely connected. Over time, that feeling has shifted as the organization has evolved and grown.

Cons

On the constructive side, decision-making at the leadership level can be slow, which sometimes impacts morale and momentum. In recent years, there have been reductions in benefits and periodic layoffs that leave employees questioning workload distribution and long-term planning. Overall, my experience was shaped by the people — and that is what made it meaningful. I am grateful for the decades of professional growth and the colleagues who made it worthwhile.
