No contact with the acct managers.

Pros

Get your foot in the door somewhere that you want to try as a potential long-term fit. As far ascontracting companies go, this one has a great on-boarding process.

Cons

It is unfortunate these days that third party staff augmentation companies, like Collabera, are making up to 40% of what you should be bringing home.

Pros

It was great in 2022!

Cons

It was great when I first started, but the company's culture has shifted to extremely negative and toxic in the past year. 1. Upper management cannot take feedback which is probably a reason you get on LinkedIn every day and see another employee leaving the job. There are so many things wrong with the company, and the managements ego is too big to admit it, take accountability, and make changes when they make mistakes (EX. hiring of CEO Mike Fromhold, hiring of inexperienced Sales Managers, moving back to 5 days a week in office, making metrics even harder when they economy is down) 2. "Great opportunity to make a lot of money" Is BS. Base salary is dog poop, they don't pay you out on commission until you make THEM a certain amount of money, and when you are finally paid out it is maybe $30 more a paycheck. They do everything they can to pay you less so they can make more. (With the amount of people who have quit, you could probably afford to pay your last standing employees at market rate) 3. It is more of a call center environment than anything. Collabera is approved with a few number of accounts, probably because we don't perform and get blacklisted from companies. They want you to get out 500 cold calls a day. They don't teach you any other valuable sales techniques. The number of times I was told to "cold call", I still hear it in my nightmares. Reality check to management, Cold Calling does not work like it did in the past. People are working from home, they aren't at desks ready to answer the office phones. Maybe start investing in true sales training for your employees not 5 minute videos created by insight global rejects. 4. Turnover due to the above reasons is INSANE. They try to tell you you aren't successful because you "don't work hard" or "aren't built for this", but that is not the case. It is because there are no tools for success at this company. In my office alone, I have seen 10 employees leave and become more successful at other staffing companies and other sales jobs in general. Collabera is pushing out great salespeople because Collabera is the problem. If you are looking to get into sales right out of college, save yourself time and pointless stress, and go join a well-renowned company. Collabera is going downhill and it is happening fast.
