Pros

You get some training and if you're lucky you might get what you need later in the program. Pay is fair if you are already working a minimum-wage job. The training is short and they give you breaks. The teachers are somewhat nice but behind the scenes, I would not know. Great if you have no other options and have time.

Cons

They value employees with fixed upbeat positive personalities. If you only know tech or programming they can't guarantee you a job placement with clients or if they will keep you in their program. Little to no communication when it comes to your job or the feedback you need to do better in their program. They will tell you absolutely nothing until you get fired or let go. Lots of deception going about within and outside of the program. Not only will they not help with your skill and improvement issues but they will lie about you and their support. The contract alone has a $25,000 dollar fine if you violate it. Not something anyone can easily afford. You don't get any strikes while you are working. So if you slip up once they will not keep you around for long. Not the best at getting help and job security. They do not care about your success. They let you go and that's it. I would not recommend them if you need work and don't have time to waste. If I could go back in the past and let myself know how little I got out of their program, I would have passed up their opportunity for something else. Don't do what I did in trusting bad sources. Do your research and make a wise decision when it comes to joining training programs. I made it to the top of my class, did a very good job, and was still let go. I'm not sure what is going on within the company currently, but if it were me, I would move on.

"Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback with us. We're very happy to know that, as you navigated a challenging situation, you found your training to be pleasant and useful, and you felt fairly compensated for your time and efforts. That being said, we recognize and respect the concerns you've shared here - you've given our team a lot to unpack. We take all feedback to heart, and use it as an opportunity to address concerns as we continue to grow and evolve as a company, and we're grateful you've shared it so candidly with us. As we continue to move forward, is there anything we should still be doing for you? Are there any unresolved issues, loose ends, or other concerns we should be addressing for you? If so, let's make sure they're taken care of. Please reach out to us at BusinessExcellence@collabera.com, and we'll get started right away. Thanks again."

Pros

Lower level management isn't bad, Payrate is ok.

Cons

Poor work life balance, Benefits are substandard and overpriced even for a contract position, understaffed, overtime not paid unless pre-approved by Collabera overall project manager, EXTREMELY high personnel turnover (over 150% in 8 months of original staffing level for the contract I was on. Yes, that means they turned over and entire team, hired a smaller one, and turned over half of that so far in 2022). SLA's are tight deadline even with full staff, and constant special projects. Benefits package is BARELY more than bare minimum to meet ACA standards and is ridiculously overpriced. Raises extremely hard to come by - including COL raises.
