Pros

The culture is fun and young which can be appealing to many people, especially recent college graduates. However, don't be fooled with how fun it looks to work there.

Cons

The company in general has no real structure. You start out as a recruiter but call it Associate Account Manager so it seems as though it's a different position. You have to attain ridiculous metrics in order to be promoted into a position that is not even similar to the previous one. Doesn't promotion mean you get a higher ranking in the current or similar position? Anyways, it doesn't matter how hard working or deserving you are because if you do not hit these ridiculous numbers then you can't "move up". Also, there is no control over these metrics which is why hard working people may never attain that promotion. The management only cares about making money for your team and doesn’t care what measures you take to get there. If you start slipping then they put you on a performance plan and fire you (usually after 1 month). They overwork the employees and even try to control your personal life. The hardest part about this job is that you have the future and professional lives of people in your hands. Meaning, you are helping people find jobs and join amazing companies that Collabera staffs for. Since management does not care about those people then they make the Account Managers responsible for ruining these lives. A perfect example is when management pushes you talk to the hiring managers at the companies and then find candidates for the open positions. They make you get the candidate all lined up to start on a certain day, accept a pay rate and sometimes even quit their previous jobs for the entire the thing to not even go through. This means people are left without jobs and it is horrible to know that you are responsible for that. The company is sometimes not even set up with the companies that they staff for me, meaning that if you do line up a candidate, then you cannot proceed with hiring them. This happened to me and it was then on me to tell the candidate that they not only can’t get the job but that they had to quit their previous role and then are left jobless. I recommend that you do not work here. This company needs to have a better structure and become a respectable company like other recruiting firms out there. It is not a professional environment and they do not value the employees. The salaries are not worth it and the commission checks take so long to come in. Once I left, I was never given all my commission checks and lucked out in a lot of money. If you are looking to get a placement through Collabera – I recommend that you go somewhere else. They do not actually care about placing you in a job and just care about making money off of you.

Pros

There really is not one single thing that is a pro of working at Collabera. 95% of reviews are fake-positive reviews FORCED by management to write.

Cons

I came from a background in recruiting specifically as a full-desk recruiter. Never in my life have I seen such an unorganized, unprofessional, mind-boggling things. The processes make ZERO sense. There are virtually no managers and "regional directors" are people in their late twenties who have no experience at all. After just being there a few months I noticed how badly ran the entire organization was. I truthfully didn't need any because of strong prior experience but there was no actual training structure at all for the direct hire division at Collabera. I felt bad as there were people on my team who had little to no recruiting experience and had nobody to turn to if they needed help or had questions. Running a full desk is not easy and you are pretty much thrown to the wolves. The entire learning & development team from what I saw was an absolute joke. The company would be better off shutting down than running their sketchy operations in India as well. Stay FAR AWAY if you're thinking of taking a job out of college here. THEY WILL PREY ON YOU FRESH OUT OF COLLEGE. All of the higher-ups creep on the young girls and will just hire you if you're good looking and force you to go to happy hours with 50 year old men just to earn more business. It is a shame that the entire operation is ran so poorly.

Pros

Other departments will help you in almost everything you need. Fast paced environment, perfect for people who are looking work that will develop their personal growth. People are too busy for office politics.

Cons

Work load is a bit too much vs the pay. if you ask the management for a lighter load they will tell you to just carry on. Prepare to get loads of emails, answer calls and attend meetings well after working hours. Management would rather kill time with meetings than be productive.
