Pros

The staff here are amazing - incredibly kind, caring, and helpful. caring and helpful

Cons

The pay period being semi-monthly is tough. The amount of pay isn't very sustainable unless you are without many responsibilities. The area is very expensive and commuting is realistically the only sensible option and cooking from home is a must.

Pros

Wonderful folks to work with, both IC's and most managers. Tech/Engineering org is dedicated to evolving, investing in both their people and appropriate modern tech. Pay is above adequate. Career ladder is clear and precise. New & promising goal-based bonus structure.

Cons

Some lack of vertical mobility for long-tenured employees. Management seems to favor hire-out over promote-within. Rising trend of hiring off-shore. Some over-bearing management. Historically low raise/pay-bump frequency and scale.

Pros

You get to see some cool cards.

Cons

This company could care less for its employees. Starting with the pay, with all of the work and time they expect from everyone you would think they would pay you a wage that competes with literally any other job out there. The only thing management knows how to do is micro manage. They will literally watch you and write down your every breath on sticky notes so they can pull you aside later and tell you about it. It doesn’t matter how much work you put into this place because they’ll find something to complain about. During my time there I witnessed managers and supervisors speaking about employees personal information and business out loud to others, not to mention they have a group chat just to laugh and make fun of other employees for mistakes they may have made during work. In my time there I also witnessed my supervisor speaking very inappropriately about women in the work place. On multiple occasions I heard him make misogynistic comments. Human Resources probably gets paid to sit down and do absolutely nothing all day, so good luck trying to go to them about anything because you’ll be answered with “read the employee handbook” type responses. They like to pretend the environment is stress free while also adding stress onto anyone there.
