      Good people. Very knowledgeable. Flexible work hours. Good career opportunities at home office in Cedar Rapids. So-so elsewhere.

      Recently bought by UTC. Now UTC merging with Raytheon. Organization chart changes daily.

      If you're a manager, then you will receive a retention bonus.

      Cons

      If you're an engineer, then you will be replaced by people from Cedar Rapids or India (without the skills/knowledge). The management and project engineers have experience, but no relevant experience (particularly in the mobile space). The GUIs are not designed by UX designers, but by management and systems engineers (primary tasks are going to meetings and writing on wiki pages). The software engineers are routinely tasked with implementing unintuitive GUIs. Rockwell Collins had below average benefits and salary, but UTC has lowered the bar.
