Extremely Toxic Culture

Pros

Consistent hours, and 9 free credits a year to take classes. Pera pension if you can get a state classified position.

Cons

Toxic environment among staff and leaders, holding anyone accountable especially if they are state classified is a headache by design & culture. The union acts more like a gang than a real union. Pay is poor in comparison to private sector. Gaslighting is baked into the work culture & nepotism/fraternization rein supreme.

Great gig!

Pros

CSU is the best "company" I have worked for in most respects. Great great benefits, overall good chill group of people. Working with an organization as large as CSU, you know they will be competitive, have a solid HR department and know what it takes to retain staff.

Cons

Too many emails from the University! Constant barage if info about what is happening on campus, etc. I do not work in Colorado, so it would be GREAT to not have to know there is a street closed on campus every 20 seconds, etc.
