Umpqua Bank is a happy, motivational place to work where they believe in the community and empowerment of the employees. There are tons of employees perks and fun events to attend. Compensation is pretty good and management is very receptive to suggestions.

Cons

Initial pay is pretty good but raises are not very much.

Great positive work environment. Focus on serving the customers actual needs rather than filling a hole in their line of products that the customer doesn't really need adds a personal relationship with the customer and the community.

Cons

Once you reach the Branch Officer/Supervisor level it is hard to move further on up without 10+ years of experience.
