Columbia has grown too big. Managers and salesmen are consistently coerced to perform under duress of being terminated.

The salary and benefits are above average for the industry.

Cons

There is no regard for employees as human beings. They are put under constant threat of termination if sales aren't up...and when they are up, they try to crucify you for all the out of code beer that you were forced to jam into accounts to hit managements sales quotas. Absolutely no respect for anything you have done for them in the past....it's all about what have you done for me today.

It is hard to find any pros about a company when they care enough about their employees.

Cons

Everything! Prepare to have the worst job experience unless you are best friends or family of senior management. They do not care about your safety or well-being. Although they stress safety during meetings, it does not translate out into the field. You are forced to work beyond your safety limit and if you don't, prepare to be reprimanded. I got fired for asking for help and expressing my concerns to senior management.
