Pros

Wonderful colleagues. Some of the best, most caring folks you will meet. Good entry level job because the organization is willing to hire and train people with not experience.

Cons

The managers, from mid-level to the top are really bad. This workplace is extremely toxic, bullying and abusive. The pay is very low, not competitive, which is why entry level people go there, get a foot in the door and leave. The hospital exploits this and views their entry level people as expendable.

If I had to say, some of the co-workers

Leadership. building is pretty gross and falling apart. parking is not convenient, and they charge staff. They will not pay mileage to employees even though its state law. foundation events are pretty embarrassing and a clear indicator of who makes the most money, and how the top stays at the top. This place is the definition of WE BURNT YOU OUT, HERE IS A PIZZA PARTY.

Great staff and team environment very caring people

Cons

No work life balance. Not allowed time off if sick, no meal breaks, management doesn’t care about staff. Randomly scheduled to work overnights 2 times a month and expected back after only 1 day between and will schedule you overnight and call off regular staff instead of the person that’s not used to the shift. They do it for fun or because they can to assert dominance over their employees. Don’t receive union contract until it’s time to renew
