Pros

Flexible time off, extra pay during certain holidays, management of your own department, sometimes friendly coworkers

Cons

Management. Very slow to get raises as well. Hours will get cut if labor is low, even if you are a manager. Lower level managers get stuck with all the work while the other management is in office all day. Was forced to stay after multiple times to fix something that was not my issue. Do not work here unless you want to be worked to the bone for low pay.

Going down the tubes

Pros

Great health benefits. Lots of time off available for HQ salaried FTE as long as manager approves. Really nice coworkers and supportive management if you’re lucky. Work life balance is decent, at least on my team. I think all of the above varies depending on your department/team.

Cons

ELT has lofty goals but isn’t willing to invest in the right technologies to achieve them. Decisions often seem to come out of nowhere and the communication can be very poorly executed. Occasional surveys to pulse check employee sentiment seem pointless when we don’t see any change. I’ll echo another reviewers sentiment that if another in office day is added then I’ll be looking for the exit pretty quickly. Given that pay is low at CSC compared with industry peers, I’m not sure there would be enough pros to keep me on board if you force us back in office. Columbia is a cheap company. One could argue that creates stability, but it can also be very frustrating.
