Was a good place until they offshored teams

Pros

Columbia was a great place to work. The local people are great, pay is good, office environments are clean and modern. The attire they produce have great selections for the whole family.

Cons

The company changed once they started offshoring departments, adding to the US unemployment stats. They are becoming another big company that are losing the culture they once had where everyone wanted to work. COVID may have contributed to a shoft in people wanting to WFH. Tariffs hurt every business. Can't blame them 100% for wanting to save costs.

Pros

Your coworkers. Most people who work here are very positive, friendly, willing to do the right thing. Out of all the places I have worked, this happens to be my favorite when it comes to just the people I've worked with. My manager is amazing and so is my manager's manager.

Cons

Endless annualized layoffs. Tone deaf upper management. Very confusing messaging (they'll have a party welcoming you one day and announce layoffs the next). Layoffs, layoffs, layoffs. If your are looking to grow your career and advance, look elsewhere. There's no path forward. Did I mention there's been a lot of layoffs?
