Tuition benefit, flexible work schedule

Cons

Non-academic staff are treated poorly. If you have a request, send it through a Dean or a Professor if you actually want it to get done, if it comes from a staff member it's not going to happen.

Great benefits (tuition for self, spouse, and children), large organization with room for movement and growth. Employees are surrounded by and often work closely with scholars who are thought leaders in their field.

Cons

Low morale in many departments. Senior management often perceived to be looking out only for themselves and their friends. Bureaucratic.
