Pros

- flexible remote work for Canadians - opportunity to grow within the company - flexible hours - independent work

Cons

- salary only reviewed yearly and no bonuses - benefits could be improved to be better - not a lot of communication within departments and not a lot of team building/meetings - not great company culture - not many benefits for Canadians as it’s an american company

Pros

company stability, working from home

Cons

I get the sense upper management does not care about their employees. Most of the mid-level management I swear get off on demeaning, humiliating and insulting employees in front of other managers, team members and in private for the fun of it. I was constantly on edge for the next blow and feared I would be fired or written up literally every day even though management admitted I was a high-performing employee. In clinical roles there are no continuing education courses offered or anything to acknowledge that we are actual clinicians with masters degrees. Most of the people on the phone are extraordinarily rude. In the rare instances that they aren't, a manager will try to ruin your day just because they can. The targeted harassment intensifies if you actually meet or exceed quality standards--heaven help you if you actually achieve your bonus. It is clear clinical policies and procedures are not set by actual clinicians in the field. Upper management is clearly made up mostly of business executive type people who are not exposed to the frontlines or have a clinical background. HR's track record of responding back to employee questions is abysmal. The PTO is minuscule and the absence management rules are beyond cruel for what they actually ask us to do.
