Pros
nice to work downtown, snack room :) as a clinician, I appreciated the variety of presenting issues. you will interact with a wide range of clients from all over the country and hear some truly interesting experiences. I had some lovely coworkers.
Cons
if you aren't offended by this company's practices, you probably need to consult your ethical standards. you will gets non-stop calls from disgruntled employees, many of whom ought to be advised that they are in abusive work environments (not that they need mental healthcare) and should considering quitting- but this is strictly forbidden as the true "client" is the corporation. most of the supervisors are so deeply bought into the hierarchy of this place that the clinicians who work under them are not attended to as budding professionals- rather are managed in terms of their ability to keep churning out results favorable to corporate interests. Solid counseling skills are not valued nearly as much as quick turn-around w/calls. it's no wonder recent grads are pursued- any counselor w/ experience can see right through this.
