Pros

I’ve have the privilege of serving as Chief Clinical Officer at ComPsych, and what continues to stand out to me is the genuine alignment between our mission and the work we do every day. Supporting mental health and wellbeing, particularly for working individuals and their families, is not just something we talk about - it’s deeply embedded in how we operate and is reflected in our daily decisions, priorities, and investments. What I value most is the caliber of my colleagues. I work alongside incredibly talented and committed clinical, operational, technology, business development, and customer success team members who are not only highly skilled, but deeply committed to making a meaningful difference. There is a shared sense of purpose that makes even the most complex challenges feel worthwhile. One thing about ComPsych I believe is worth sharing is that it has the advantage of being an established, stable organization, which provides a strong foundation for doing this work well. And at the same time, there is a clear and ongoing commitment to innovation - whether that’s expanding access to care, integrating new technologies thoughtfully, or evolving how we support our customers, providers, and end users of our service. That balance of stability and forward momentum creates real opportunities for growth and impact, while feeling secure in the business and work we do. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that is both mission-driven and evolving, and to work with a team that shows up every day with purpose and integrity.

Cons

(Not so much a con, but since Glassdoor requires this section I will share the following for those interested in pursuing a career at ComPsych...) Like any organization, we are not without challenges. The work we do is important and often complex, and that requires continuous learning, adaptability, flexibility, and strong collaboration. Behavioral health and technology are advancing at rapid paces, and we all have to work together to meet the demands of the industry. But I see those challenges as part of what makes this work meaningful - increasing access points, engagement opportunities, modalities of care, etc. all require hard work and commitment - but are also what get's me excited to start the day and work at ComPsych. Further, ComPsych is a clinical-first company. While we strive for continuous improvement and innovation, everything we do is grounded in a clinical first approach and strong clinical governance, which I believe is important to most when picking their next organization and team.

Pros

1. The support you receive from your team members, and leadership (management and above) is truly second to none. I have never, in my professional career, been a part of an organization where people do not make me feel less than or stupid for needing guidance or support with work. 2. The company culture here is amazing! I love how the leaders work to get everyone working for ComPysch all over the world together each year to learn, and connect. You really do feel like you are a part of a TEAM. 3. The work life balance is amazing. I love being able to work from home will also being able to connect with team members so easily - you dont feel like you are disconnected in any way. 4. The energy!!! The energy throughout the organization is amazing. Everyone is committed to delivering success both to clients and employees. The passion and ability to truly listen to clients and employees is evident in the way leadership conducts business. 5. I have never worked with leaders that do not thrive off of the power they garner through fear and use their power as a weapon. I can not express enough how much I truly admire the way leadership conducts themselves and instead of being nervous to interact with them, I find myself looking up to them and really aspiring to live up to the expectations they have for the company and its employees. 6. Leadership especially my manager always wants to hear feedback and do what they can to keep you from burnout. I can not stress enough how amazing it feels to have such open and honest communication and I don't at all feel afraid to say that I am struggling X,Y, or Z. Overcoming prior work related PTSD is a struggle, but my manager always has my back and truly makes me feel like he cares. 7-20. I could easily write many more Pros but I will spare everyone from that novel. If you are fortunate enough to work for this company I am sure you will feel and experience the same.

Cons

The work at times can be challenging especially when you are trying to find your footing as a newer employee and understand the inner workings, BUT again the support you get from the team helps a lot. I have a very big fear of flying so if I had to say a true con it would be not being able to drive everywhere for client or company visits.
