      Traumatized by this horrid place

      Pros

      Decent training if you can get away for 11 days, sit in class 8 hours a day, and share a hotel room with a stranger

      Cons

      Lack of professionalism in the Ontario staff, harassed by upper management if you don't sell based on your objectives for that day/week. The incompetent clerical staff in Ontario is given more support than the sales/sales management team. Very high turnover - agents would barely last a few weeks. Company will hire anyone who is licensed because they have to fill their quotas.

      Unlimited income opportunity. Solid training program

      Cons

      Difficult to market product because there is little perceived need. As a Territory Manager, you are required to recruit, train and develop and personally produce to maintain your own income.

      Pros

      Meeting interesting people. Traveling to areas one would never think to drive to. Made new friends with other agents.

      Cons

      Management doesn't have a clue what the real world is all about. There is absolutely no excuse for not producing, not even a 500 year flood that devastated my hometown and made any travel impossible.
