Pros

Training for a newbie is excellent.

Cons

Best case scenarios are not the reality. Need to have another income source or savings first year or you could starve.

Pros

You can make your own hours. Lot of training that does provide a lot of knowledge. They provide a per diem for training and take care of the hotel and travel.

Cons

Commission Only and training is UNPAID. No benefits until 6 months. Must work long hours and be very persistent to make enough sales. Company does not back you and allows some things to go on that shouldn't. Company culture is set up to make everyone, even your boss, compete against you. Your boss, the TM, probably doesn't do things by the books and a lot are useless. All costs are out of your pocket. Company micromanages and requires a lot of check-ins and calls beyond your hours that you work.
