Pros

Not A whole lot of pros with this company. They do give you freedom to make your own schedule but that's about it.

Cons

The extensive "sales training" is nothing more than memorizing a pitch so that you can go door to door and be shut down countless times. Extensive travel to market meetings usually 2-3 hours away from my location without receiving any compensation for them. Very poor management. Managers would ride together to make sales while they left the new agents to struggle by themselves. Beware of chargebacks aka they will take your whole paycheck. It's basically a pyramid scheme without being called that.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that sales is not for everyone, and we do our best to prepare our sales agents with proven methods in sales school. We are always looking for talented sales agents, and we reward those managers who recruit them, but we are not a pyramid scheme. If you have any additional feedback you wish to share, please email us at feedback@combined.com. We wish you all the best here at Combined Insurance or wherever your career takes you.

Pros

Great on-going training. A positive atmosphere that encourages you to strive to do better and correct your last respects.

Cons

100% commission plus bonuses. Until you become good at sales you don't make much money.

Thank you for reviewing our company. We especially appreciate hearing from our current employees. Thank you for pointing out that you are benefiting from ongoing training and our emphasis on having a positive attitude. We strive to provide our agents with the training and support they need during their entire career. Our sales agents have a virtually unlimited sales potential, but it’s true you have to work hard and put in the time to gain success. We will pass your suggestion on to sales leadership. We wish you all the best in your career here with us. If you have any other suggestions, please send them to feedback@combined.com.

Pros

Great first week of sales training, Flexible schedule, tele-commute, PMA,...but

Cons

Scam simply. Walk and walk and walk door to door. Marketing Directors and above work for ACE but TM's do not. Commission schedule so convoluted and the worse ever HR/Compensation website.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are known for our excellent training school that prepares our agents to be successful in the field. As you mentioned, our founder, W. Clement Stone, believed that having a positive mental attitude (PMA) was key to success, and we find it holds true for our successful agents in the field to this day. Our agents are full-time employees, but they do enjoy a flexible schedule in which they manage their own time. Sales is not for everyone, but those who excel in sales have a virtually unlimited income potential. We are slightly confused by your statement that Market Directors and above work for ACE. Let us be clear, all employees work for Combined Insurance and Combined Insurance is an ACE Group company. That said, we hear your frustration and want to do better. Specifically, we would appreciate it if you would let us know how what specific issues you encountered on our employee website. Please email us at feedback@combined.com with more information.
