Pros

Great motivators. Not very honest but great at motivating!

Cons

Not very sincere outside of the sales pitch. The turnover rate for sales agents is 90% that should tell you something. This is a "in the clique" company. If you are willing to go along with the wool being pulled over the eyes of the new agents then you will fit right in. Many of the managers practice some of the most disingenuous methods of unloading a good product on unsuspecting people. They didn't TRULY break down the pay until you were leaving training in Chicago...

Pros

A really good Intensive Sales School training at Corporate Headquarters for 10 days. Nice people at corporate and Good products.

Cons

Managers were not following the rules that were told to us in training. After Corp training, did not receive the training or support that was promised in Sales School.

Pros

Great corporate culture, training, ability to help people with low priced accident and sickness policies. Everyone goes to Chicago for 11 days of training on company.

Cons

Management not always clear on what it takes to motivate sales people to productivity. Some managers compete with agents by focusing more on what they write than their own agents. Lots of turn over of agents. Sometimes I felt like Combined was behind the times in their sales approach ( agents expected to go door to door to sell policies). If you are interested in a career in sales you may want to consider other options than Combined. The general public has no idea who Combined is because they do zero advertising which does not help the agent when it comes to company recognition.
