Pros

Compensation, benefits, flexible work schedule, perks

Cons

Company does not seem comfortable promoting programmers into management. Most managers come from the project management side rather than the tech side. That can be frustration.

Pros

Great benefits and generous pay - while it lasts!

Cons

Comcast has a culture of youth. Employees over 45 are marginalized by managers and outright bullied by 30-ish hipster coworkers while corporate and HR turn a blind eye. This is not a place where a mature worker will feel safe or welcome.

Pros

Opportunities to learn new technologies, Great benefits, Mainly 9-5 hours, Flexibility to work from home as needed, Open door policy, Regular performance evaluations

Cons

No clear career path / no room to grow into a new role, Silos and politics, Sometimes work environment can be a bit difficult to thrive in within group, So far not much collaboration with devs on projects (solo work)
