Staying Employed the Major Challenge Now
Pros
The benefit package and the pay are very competitive. In the right department, a good structure to grow within as well. Flexible work environment even though there's been a specific shift toward in-office work. Some truly great people sprinkled throughout the company as well.
Cons
Subscriber loss has put the company in tough financial times and that means there's been job cuts every year since 2019 with more to come. Also don't like what this environment has done to the culture overall. Leaders used to be more focused on their people and that's done a bit of a 180 in the last few years as things have become more cut-throat. If someone was signing on to work here, I'd advise them to always keep their options open as their job could be consolidated at any moment.
