Pros

Pay was great, benefits were above average and heavily discounted cable and internet.

Cons

The pressure was unreal, expected to do things to compromise my safety. My Boss acted like a dictator.

Pros

Free Cable, Great advertising medium for local and regional businesses.

Cons

You're treated like a cog in a wheel. Management couldn't care less about the staff and consider everyone disposable. They have driven off every decent sales rep. Senior Management lacks ethics. Don't do too well or they'll strip down your account list to cap your income.

Outside salespeople have a measure of freedom. Lots of high-quality tools to help you generate leads and close sales.

Cons

No protected territories. Millions spent to drive inbound sales but little offered in the way of support for outside salespeople. Business rules are complicated and ever-changing. Customer service poor at best. Management seems totally disconnected from the realities in the field.
