Pros

I been with this company for 3 years and I have to say that this is the next best thing to a union job at the big three. Like I stated in the headline excellent benefits for little to no effort in the amount of work that you do and its almost impossible to get fired. The lack of oversight and accountability from management could make anyone complacent and most are. However, those who put in an honest effort can easily be noticed and become promoted as long as you play the office politics.

Cons

Its not a glamorous job because you go into neighborhoods and knock on peoples doors and bother them. Many people frown upon what you do as a door-to-door salesmen and friends and family will feel bad for you and constantly offer you jobs that they think are more "glamorous". They think your crazy for rejecting their offers but little do they know that you can pay all your bills with half of your bi- weekly paycheck and that it costs you only a song to go to the dentist, optometrist, physician or pharmacist!

Pros

Can't think of any good reasons to work for Comcast. Their Management is very poor. Management thinks only about Company advancement and very little about Customer Service.

Cons

No chance for advancements. Very poor Management.

Pros

Perks/benefits like discounted cable/internet, good healthcare, some teams allowed to work fully from home

Cons

Like most billion dollar corporations, Comcast is toxic. I worked here for over a decade and was retaliated against due to a medical condition and the fact that I continued to speak up for my team who were underpaid, overworked, and never promoted. Four people left the organization and they never backfilled them, and then they acted astonished when people reported being burnout and frustrated. I ultimately look leave and then resigned, because to absolutely no one's surprise, HR did nothing about my complaint / situation. When I left, I was not offered an exit interview (I was told "maybe" I'd get an email survey) and no one from leadership reached out. As a reminder, I worked there for OVER A DECADE and the only people that contacted me after I tendered my resignation were colleagues and my direct reports. No one above Director level. Not my immediate supervisor, VP, SVP or anyone else ...most of whom I have known since I started and have been at Comcast longer than I have. Comcast leadership will go on and on about taking your well-being seriously and preach how you're all a part of a big Comcast "family." This is a reminder that no corporation cares about you. You could die tomorrow; they'd replace you and move on. If that's what family is, sounds pretty dysfunctional to me. Like the kind you should go no-contact with...
